My tail lights and dash lights out how to fix?

i changed the radio in my dodge Dakota and after i did my tail lights and dash lights quit working. There was a wire hook up to the Factory radio that made it dim with the dash now that i have the new radio there is no place to hook it up to. I changed all fuses dealing with the tail lights and dash and still they do not work so what do i needa do with the wire that used to be on the factory radio because it looked like it was hooked to a ground so do i just need to ground it? or do i needa run it to a fuse and if so how do i do this?My tail lights and dash lights out how to fix?
Doesnt sound like they would connect the radio with the tail/dash lights but ..First you need to get a simple( test light) you can get it at autozone or other auto parts store...then turn your ignition key on so your radio and all accessories work,,,then insert the test light into the end of that wire and see if it has power running to it...if it doesnt then it was a ground wire and you can go ahead and ground it...

see if it works after that...I know the truck has a fuse box inside with fuses....also there maybe a relay or fuse outside under the hood in the main powerbox....you may want to check

How much is my 1974 Harley Davidson worth?

I have a 1974 Harley Davidson, been changed from soft tail to hard tail, chrome head light, monkey bars, rims, has a solo seat, lots of custom made parts. Has a 1000 cc engine. How much is my 1974 Harley Davidson worth?
This style of bike has a specific market. Some folks like %26quot;old style%26quot; or %26quot;old school%26quot; choppers and this would probably fit into that catagory. What you might do is go to Ebay Motors and see if you find any %26quot;customs%26quot; similar to your bike, with similar custom offerings, i.e. hard tail, engine size, mileage and condition, custom chrome, etc. The other option would be to take it to a custom fabricating shop and have them give you a ball park appraisal. Not a trade in appraisal, just for what amount would they consider reselling a bike like yours. There would need to be something really special for the bike to be worth significantly more than what a 1974 Softail with a 65 CU IN engine. Without seeing it up close and personal, that's about all I can tell you. Hope this info helps! How much is my 1974 Harley Davidson worth?

Chopped Sportsters aren't as valuable as chopped big twins. I assume you mean the bike has apehanger handle bars, not monkey bars. Hard tail bikes are style-wise the cleanest looking bikes you'll ever see, but riding them will knock your teeth loose, so again, you're limited as to who wants to buy this style bike. I have a 1999 chry cirrus. When I purchased the car the brake lights worked, now they are not working at all.?

I had to change one of the tail lights because the wiring was loose from the harness and after that that's when the brake lights stopped working. I took it to one shop and they changed the fuse but it is blowing the fuses. can someone possibly tell me what I can do, and if it is the electrical system how much it will possibly cost.I have a 1999 chry cirrus. Remove the bulb that was changed,to see if it is correct bulb or defective, short to ground.

i have a 99 mazda protege, and the fuse from the dash board lights and tail lights blew. i changed it about 10 times and it keeps blowing. also the radio will not even turn on.. im a female trying to fix it. can anyone tell me what the problem is? and about how much it will be to fix it and where i can get it fixed. thank youI keep changing the fuse on my car and it keeps blowing..?
Something is up with your electrical system... You need to go in and have someone look at it... Hopefully they will be able to just hook it up to the Dino and figure out the error code but either way... You can't fix the electrical system on your own.

I keep changing the fuse on my car and it keeps blowing..?
I wish i had a girl like your fuseI keep changing the fuse on my car and it keeps blowing..?
Well, the fuse is blowing for a reason. The trick is - to find the reason.

If you can, find out what else is on that line. If its just the taillights and dash lights then pull out the bulbs. Try replacing the fuse with the bulbs out. If the fuse does not blow then replace the bulbs one-at-a-time until the fuse blows. That will be your bad circuit. If the fuse still blows when you have all the bulbs out, you will need to isolate each line to each socket until you find the %26quot;short%26quot;. If it gets to be too much a good mechanic can find it in about 20 minutes. A bad mechanic will keep trying different things until he/she stumble upon the problem.

Check the fuse for the radio. There should be one in the fuse panel and (if you have an after-market radio) there should be another in the power line to the radio,

Good luck!I keep changing the fuse on my car and it keeps blowing..?
you might have some electrical wiring problems and may have accedentially messed up something when you were fixing it those timesI keep changing the fuse on my car and it keeps blowing..?
you have a wiring problem..theres either two wires touching or the ground wire is touching metal somewhere...

the cost...its hard to tell..it all depends on where the wire is bad at and how much of the dash has to b tore out...

you can take it to your local garage and get an estimate...I keep changing the fuse on my car and it keeps blowing..?
you have a short somewhere, they can be real hard to track down , better get a mechanic to look at it before you could have a fireI keep changing the fuse on my car and it keeps blowing..?
Should be a common circuit with parking/tailights

Remove the bulbs from the parking and tailights

    Check sockets for corrosion/bare wires

Install fuse and replace bulbs one a time to see if problem is in the exterior of vehicle - if not same procedure under dash board I keep changing the fuse on my car and it keeps blowing..?
Are you sure you're using the right type of fuse? You may need a higher gauge.

If you still have the old one, check the number on the top.

If you have a friend with the same car ask and check theirs.

Otherwise, talk to your dealer or a mechanic for the right number.I keep changing the fuse on my car and it keeps blowing..?
You have a short somewhere. I would start tracing wires looking for breaks. Have you added any accessories or anything? Your radio should not be on the same fuse as your tail lights. Fords aren't anyways. I keep changing the fuse on my car and it keeps blowing..?
well if they blow once thats normal if they blow again then you have a short somewhere with one of the things that is not working.. any shop will do it but i could nt put a price on it unless i was working on it they go by time it take to fix it and what they have to do to fix itI keep changing the fuse on my car and it keeps blowing..?
Double check that you are using the right amperage fuse. If it's right and still blows you have a problem that could cause serious damage if you don't get to a mechanic.I keep changing the fuse on my car and it keeps blowing..?
It is an electronic problem and needs to have the garage check. You can ask for an estimate before paying for the work. Make sure the estimate is given in writing. Tell them you will get back to them after you go to a couple other garages for n estimate. This will let them know you won't be taken as a female because a lot of garages jack up the price when a female asks. Go to 3 garages and than go to the one that you feel is the most reputable and give them the lowest quote and see if they will match it. A lot of the newer cars require a computer diagnosis to find the problem when it is electronic. It may just be a faulty wire.I keep changing the fuse on my car and it keeps blowing..?
The only thing i can think of would be to get a voltage/amperage meter and open the car up and test the connections. Is the stereo a new one? did it come with the car? do you have other things installed/plugged in that did not come with the car. If you dont have a amperage meter and know how to use one you might have to take it to a local shop or a local highschool that has an autoshop class ( the teachers will let the kids fix it for you with no cost other than parts ). you might even be using the wrong fuses.

BTW: rishab copy and basted his post off another wiki site i say down thumb himI keep changing the fuse on my car and it keeps blowing..?
what's that definition of insanity? doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result? sorry, just kiddin...

this is one of those rogue electrical gremlins that can be difficult to diagnose. You'll have to take it to someone or else learn to use a multimeter (it's not that difficult).

If you end up taking it to the shop, it needs to be a mechanic you can trust -- they'll be charging by the hour, and it could take anywhere from 10 minutes to three hours maybe more.

wish I had a better answer for ya.I keep changing the fuse on my car and it keeps blowing..?
look in the wire harness to the tail lights, start at the lights and work back to the fuse box. You will find that harness in the trunk and under the carpet usually the drivers side good luckI keep changing the fuse on my car and it keeps blowing..?
Blown fuses are a Symptom of a problem, not the problem,There is a short circuit in one of the systems mentioned, a chafed wire perhaps. The parts that re most exposed are the taillights, look or feel where the wires come out of the tube if it is ruff tape it over with electrical tape. It is slow and tedious but rewarding if you find something.

My tail lights keep going out. why do they keep burning out?

I have an acura and i keep having to buy new bulbs. I changed one, then the other went out, so i decided to change them both, then a few months later, they went out again, both at the same time. why do they keep going out? how should i fix it, or do i just need to keep buying more bulbs every few months....My tail lights keep going out. why do they keep burning out?
Be glad you are at least getting a few months wear before they burn out. My Chevy Camaro was eating bulbs daily last spring.

My husband never did learn what was causing it. He suspected a broken wire causing a short but couldn't find it. Tracing an electrical wiring problem is right up there with searching for a needle in a haystack.

Here are some of the things we tried. Maybe one of them will help you.

    1. Check the brand bulb you are using. If it happens most often with one brand over another, stick with the brand with the longest lifespan.

    2. Check the light sockets. Are they clean? Do they have any loose wires connecting them to the wire to the battery?

    3. Get a wiring diagram (Haynes Repair Manuals and some Chiltons have them. Check for the diagrams before you check out the book from the library or buy it at the parts house.) Trace the lighting wires back to their source and check every section for breaks.

    4. Does weather affect the light going out? Do they go out after a rain or when it's really wet? There may be water splashing or dripping somewhere that's causing a short.

    5. If none of these apply, look for patterns (like the rain or the brand of bulb) that might be related to the problem. Experiment with changing that variable to see if it makes a difference.

Good luck.My tail lights keep going out. why do they keep burning out?
Believe it or not, it is VERY common for bulbs to burn out close in time if they were replaced at the same time. The reason is that quality control for bulbs of all types(auto or home) is very good at the manufacturing level. There are also some other factors that COULD be affecting your situation.

On any car the electrical system CAN be the hardest to diagnose unless you have a lot of training or are just lucky.

Have a trained pro look at your system. My tail lights keep going out. why do they keep burning out?
The main reason: Brands of light bulb used, do not use the Chinese crap.

Shorts in the electric circuit do not blow bulbs - they blow fuses -

The only way to blow a bulb is to put more volts than what is designed for.My tail lights keep going out. why do they keep burning out?
Have the voltage output of you alternator checked with it on the car and running. If the voltage is high bulb life will be shortened considerably. Leaks in the tail lights letting water enter is a common problem. Not from shorting but sudden temp change when the water hits the hot glass.

A short will not cause this problem even though others have mentioned that.

Always use name brand quality bulbs, avoid fingerprints on the glass and get LL (long life) bulbs. Make sure the bulb number you are using is correct. Many bulbs look similar and fit the socket yet are incorrect. My tail lights keep going out. why do they keep burning out?
The only reason they would burn out so quickly is that there's a short circuit in your electrical system somewhere.

Tracing shorts is hard, and for someone to do it it's pricey. If you're good with electricity and electronics, you might be able to find the problem, otherwise, you're going to go through a lot of light bulbs. My tail lights keep going out. why do they keep burning out?
could be that you are using a higher voltage bulb than your fuse can handle and it is causing you to blow your lights so to speak, double check your bulbs, and try changing the fuse out. The simple things are usually the problem on something like that and its pretty cheap to fix as well. Also make sure that you have no cracks and a good seal at the taillights, water (rain, etc..) can really have an effect on that as well. After all that, then its time to check your wiring, for corrosion, rust, broken, etc...My tail lights keep going out. why do they keep burning out?
Try driving an American car!My tail lights keep going out. why do they keep burning out?
It may be because your car is lowered to the point where it shocks the bulbs excessively, or perhaps your boombox in the trunk is causing too much vibration than the bulb can handle. The long life bulbs could be the answer in these scenarios.

Shorts don't blow out bulbs. Check the grounds back there at the taillamps. A loose ground(a long) could cause them to appear as if they burned out and also make them act strange when you step on the brake at night. My tail lights keep going out. why do they keep burning out?
sounds like water is getting in the lenses, or a coroded wire.My tail lights keep going out. why do they keep burning out?
try adding an extra ground wire from your metal part of the light frame to the body of the car, poor grounds make a puzzling problem

91 Honda Civic Hatchback DX brake lights not working!?

OK. so. I have a 91 Civic DX hatchback. The tail lights come on when the headlights are turned on. Good.....but when I press the brakes, the lights dont change. when the high-beams are on, all the tail lights except the one in the spoiler come on. Still no brake lights. its not the bulbs, and its not a fuse. (under dash at least I have yet to check under the hood) HELP ME!!!!! how do I fix this?91 Honda Civic Hatchback DX brake lights not working!?
Find a good flashlight, and slide your driver's seat back. The switch for the brake lights is under the dash, mounted near your brake pedal assembly.

When you are not touching the brake pedal, the brake pedal assembly should be pressing on the switch. The peddle frame should leave the switch when you push the brake.

You have to find the switch, often very simple to do, sometimes they are hidden by all kinds of stuff. See if you can remove it, it needs to be tested with a continuity tester. Many hobbyist's have them and will be glad to check it for you. The switch is not expensive.

  • How bright are the "super bright" LED's?

I know led technology has come quite a ways in the last few years, and they have gotten pretty bright, but i'm trying to figure out a good comparison.

Here's the thing. I have an old 60's motorcycle, and the headlights on these motorcycles were HORRIBLY DIM. they may have been 35 watts, but they were tungsten bulbs, so about 1/4 as bright as a 35 watt halogen.

the original headlight blew, so i refurbished it and fit the biggest bulb i could find in it just for now (25 watts...........) this is a 6v bike, not 12 like newer bikes and cars by the way.

Long story short, i want to replace it with an array of LED bulbs using the original housing to do it. it won't be difficult to do, but, before i waste my time on something like that, i need to know if maybe 20 to 25 super bright LED's would be an improvement to what i have now.

this is a 125cc motorcycle, i rarely ever ride it more than 1 to 3 miles from my house, and typically in the daylight anyway, but i go to the store now and then in the middle of the night on it.

Long story short, NO highway driving neither day or night, so i don't need a million candlepower spotlight on the front of it (though it could be fun)

I'm highly considering changing out the tail light and blinkers out with LED's too in order to further conserve energy and allow the battery to charge better.

    thoughts? opinions? knowledge?

    Thanks

p.s. I know about resistors and such. just looking to know how bright they are and if it would work for my needsHow bright are the %26quot;super bright%26quot; LED%26039;s?
I would check to see if they don't already make a replacement led cluster for your motorcycle. They led lights are normally measured in Lumen s or candle power so you could compare that to what you would like to have on you motorcycle. I would think that what ever led combination you would get would be much brighter than you have already.

I received a ticket for CVC 21658A (illegal lane change)?

I was driving down Mission Blvd in Hayward, CA. I had been driving down this street for approximately 15-20 mins when I met up w/ an old school Plymouth on the side of me at a stop light. still heading down Mission I end up following behind the Plymouth because the Toyota that was in front of me was driving way below the speed limit. Unfortunately, after following behind the Plymouth 3-4 blocks, I noticed that the car had a broken taillight. Both the Toyota and Plymouth thought it was a good idea to drive side by side, so I waited until there was enough room for me to get back in the left lane and get in front of the Toyota, and no one had to break. 5 mins late I look in my rear view mirror and see a police car tailgating the Plymouth, I tell the passenger in my car %26quot;That cop sure is riding that cars ***%26quot; and the passenger said its probably because of the tail light. As I approach the light, which was 10 mins after I changed lanes, the cop all of a sudden speeds up behind me and pulls me over. I ask why am I being pulled over he tells me %26quot;I'll tell you after you give me your license and registration%26quot; I give it to him he then replies %26quot;You were following to close before you got over%26quot; I ask him how am I being pulled over for that when he was just tailgating the other car with a broken tail light he says %26quot;you were following to close behind the car with a broken tail light so I can really get you for tail gating, and an illegal lane change%26quot; I think the ticket is completely bogus because he tailgated that car for 2 blocks, and there was only myself the toyota and the plymouth on the road, but i truly believe that I got a ticket because of my race because it makes no sense to me how he can pass another car up then target me after he tailgated another car for 2-3 blocks. What grounds can I fight this on?I received a ticket for CVC 21658A (illegal lane change)?
What the cop did before pulling you over is pretty much irrelevant. He can tailgate all he wants and still pull you over for tailgating. The question is whether or not you violated CVC 21658(a). From what you've said, I don't know. Did the cop say what about your lane change was unsafe? Following too close to a car does not make the lane change unsafe. Cutting someone off is unsafe or changing lanes without signaling is unsafe.

As I understand it, your defense would be that the officer did it, too? I wouldn't hold out any hope that you'd win on that basis.CA CVC 21658A (illegal lane change)?
    This is the law:

21658. Whenever any roadway has been divided into two or more clearly marked lanes for traffic in one direction, the following rules apply:

    (a) A vehicle shall be driven as nearly as practical entirely within a single lane and shall not be moved from the lane until such movement can be made with reasonable safety.

    (b) Official signs may be erected directing slow-moving traffic to use a designated lane or allocating specified lanes to traffic moving in the same direction, and drivers of vehicles shall obey the directions of the traffic device.

As I said when you asked this question a month ago, what the cop does before pulling you over is essentially irrelevant. The question is, did you change lanes when it was not reasonably safe? No one here knows.CA CVC 21658A (illegal lane change)?
A reasonable distance between cars is one car length for every 10 MPH.

Now that said, Nobody follows at that distance. Well I try to and that is

With what you said, your lane change was made with just barely enough

room. I would guess a bored officer seen your squeeze through and went

after you. To intent on you and never saw the broken tail light. I started

You really think you can contest a ticket by saying well he was breaking the same law AND he could have pulled the other guy over? The Judge isn't going to throw out your ticket on the basis of you broke the law as well, BUT the cop disliked you more. The Judge would likely get more annoyed at you for contesting it with such a silly attempt. You have the legal right to contest the ticket, but instead of trying to argue that they should have pulled over the other guy point out that the cars were driving side by side and were under the speed limit(as long as we are talking about the LEGAL speed limit, not the oh he was driving 35 in a 35, instead of going 40-45). If you really want to argue that you weren't wrong then try to explain your side, not point out what YOU feel the cop did wrong.

i don't know your state laws on used cars. but where I'm at. it sucks. this is what the law states. a used car dealer doesn't even have to offer a warranty on their cars for any repairs after the deal is signed. warranty is limited according the the seller. i went through this when i bought a car for my daughter. and the better business bureau does not resolve this. they only publish complaints. you will have to file a dispute claim. then they submit it to the dealer to contest. they make a judgment according to the dealers response. usually not in your favor. you have to find out your rights as a buyer. the BBB does help you on that. (maybe a lemon law). it does not look good for you. i am truly sorry. my solution was in better terms. i had paid cash for the car. so i turned around and traded it in to another dealer and bought her a new one. 16 yrs ASE cert retired

First check your brake light fuse!

The black wire should be grounded, have someone depress the brake pedal.with the tail light bulb out of socket, test both contact inside the socket.if you have your park light on ,both contacts should be energized.if only one works then you have to decide which one by eliminating the tail lights.

You're not likely to have any kind of success whatsoever. And unless you bought a Certified Pre-Owned Maybach, no attorney worth hiring is going to help your for less than the cost of repairs you're out, presuming they exceed small claims limitations in the relevant jurisdiction to begin with.

Repeat after me... unless there's been some kind of fraud or lapse in legally-required safety item, ALL CAR PURCHASES ARE FINAL.

%26quot;Certified%26quot; pre-owned programs cover what the manufacturer will repair under warranty, not any purely cosmetic about the vehicle or, in the mother of all grasp at straws, potential future resale values which you have absolutely no way to quantifiably prove.

Once the dealer has corrected any legally-required safety deficiencies, anything further they may do is going to be based solely upon whatever customer service principles they happen to have. It won't be based upon anything they're %26quot;obligated%26quot;, or that you can compel them, to do.

Any success you're likely to have motivating them to perform further repairs will come from appealing to any sense of integrity they might have or any practical benefit you can demonstrate they would gain from doing so.

The time to find cosmetic defects was before accepting final delivery... hence the term %26quot;final%26quot;.

Best of luck. I hope this helps.

Ok, I still can't solve my brake lights problem!!!?

I checked everything and even use test light to see if everything has powers. No idea? Only other thing I can think of maybe is the brake pad switch but I replaced twice??? So, how can I check if the brake pad swich is good before I install it?

    Recall info:

blubs changed, fuses good, tail light is good, turn signal is good, all area has powers(tested). So, with headlights on or off both back brake lights don't work just the middle but tail light works and is the same blub???Ok, I still can%26039;t solve my brake lights problem!!!?
Use a bench tester to determine if the switch itself is good. It should show a circuit being closed when activated. Also check in your ground circuit to the brake lights they are usually grounded together and in some vehicles this circuit is separate from the turn signals. Also in a few vehicles there is an in-line fuse to the brake lights system, this is to avoid losing all tail lights during a failure of one system of the other. Electrical can be a head ache, as you undoubtedly know by now, but I wish you best of luck and you will find the problem. One other thing is does the vehicle have a wiring harness for a trailer? If so I would start by tracing it, I have found several shorts in this wiring harness and it will lead to problems which can stay masked. One I found was just pinched slightly between the hitch and frame but was enough to cause a short. Hope this helps ;)Ok, I still can%26039;t solve my brake lights problem!!!?
Oh man you use your brakes..?Ok, I still can%26039;t solve my brake lights problem!!!?
This is a confusing situation. You may have to take it to a mechanic. Sorry I couldn't help more.Ok, I still can%26039;t solve my brake lights problem!!!?
check for power coming from the brake light switch into the turnsignal switch and then out of the turn signal switch. the third brake light bypasses the turn signal switchOk, I still can%26039;t solve my brake lights problem!!!?
Check the switch on the pedal with your test light. Make sure there is power to the switch. Have someone push the brake and make sure power goes through the switch, if not replace that switch. If it checks good, you may have a broken wire.Ok, I still can%26039;t solve my brake lights problem!!!?
You probably put a single filament bulb in a double filament socket.

Check to see if you have a double filament bulb in place. It will have two silver boobs on the bottom.

Also clean the contacts and pull the contact tab up a little at the bottom of the socket. Sometimes the bulbs force them down too far so they don't make proper contact.

The simplest thing to do is to check if you have voltage at the socket contacts. Have a friend step on the brake pedal whlie you hold a voltmeter to each contact within the socket and to ground. If you get 12v voltage, everything is working perfectly. The only explanation is the bulb. If this is the case, then either:

    A) The bulb is defective. Try another one.

    B) You are putting the bulb in 180 degrees off. Match the side nipples to the socket properly.

    C) You have the wrong bulb, or it is single filament (see above).

This is not rocket science. Power to the socket = a lit bulb.Ok, I still can%26039;t solve my brake lights problem!!!?
    You wont like this however:

IF things are as they seem to you there are only two possibilities that come to mind:

    1) The brake switch - I know of no test for them other than to install them and see.

    2) There is a wire in the system between the brakes and the lights that is partially frayed. When enough voltage is put through it - it shorts out. Unfortunately - you'll probaby need a mechanic for that second one. If the wire is cracked inside its casing - you'll never be able to see the bad wire as one.Ok, I still can%26039;t solve my brake lights problem!!!?
You can test the brake switch with an ohm meter. Have someone hold the switch in the position it should be in to activate the lights, then check to see if they light. Maybe the switch is out of position.Ok, I still can%26039;t solve my brake lights problem!!!?
you bulbs have two diferent wires going to it the turn signal is one and the brake is the other now if no brake lite but you have turnsignels try replacing the bulb it my look good but is not.Ok, I still can%26039;t solve my brake lights problem!!!?
the only thing it sounds like you didnt check was to see if your ground has a good connection.some light testers wont help you there.you might have to look for it and make sure it is tight.its probably on the cars frame.follow the wires to the taillights and see if there is one wire that is bolted to the frame, and thats probably itOk, I still can%26039;t solve my brake lights problem!!!?
have you check the switch on brake pedal or have your brake fluid check on some cars there's an electric switch on master brake cylinder.Ok, I still can%26039;t solve my brake lights problem!!!?
Most likely you are going to have to replace the turn signal switch in the steering wheel, your brake lights work through your turn signal , you may want to also check to see that the hazard flashers are working if they are not, make sure the hazard flasher switch is turned off, because the brake lights will be canceled out if the switch is on, but if the hazards are working properly then the turn switch is most likely the problem if you are sure about the other components you have checked

How to replace a 1997 Civic LX Sedan tail lights?

I have some euro lights I purchased. I want to know how hard it is to change these out and if anyone can tell me the screws or has a diagram of the steps, that would be great. How to replace a 1997 Civic LX Sedan tail lights?
Open the trunk and pull the carpet away from the area behind the tail lights. You will see nuts or plastic wing nuts. Unscrew these and then gently pull the outside light housing out. Undo the bulb sockets and replace them in the new light and gently replace the new light housing. Reinstall the nuts and replace the carpet. Repeat for the other side.

    Installing trailer tail lights?

ive got this old trailer and it already has tail lights on it but i want to change those ones and put LED tail and indicator lights on instead, do i need to change my wiring set up that it already has to do that? i also want to put some lights (about 3) on the sides of the trailer like how you see on semi-trailer trucks, do i need to run different wiring than the tail lights as well? im not much of an auto electrician so would this be hard for me to do? also, when i buy all my lights do they come with instructions and all the wiring and stuff i need? thanksInstalling trailer tail lights?
You can use the existing wires as is. Connect the side (clearance) lights to the tail lights. Be sure to run the ground wire to the tail light itself for the best results. When you finish if the lights do weird %26amp; crazy things most likly it is because of a bad ground.Installing trailer tail lights?
wiring doesnt have to be changed just tail light housings and as far as putting luights on side if wires arenot there you would have to run wires but if you have sidemarker lights you can use them

What is wrong with my Bearded Dragon?

My bearded dragon won't eat anymore, and it doesn't really move anymore. It lays there all day, and recently, it gets into a mode where it runs as fast as it can in all directions and tries to run around itself (like how a dog chases its tail) and then it gets to a point where it almost breaks its back.

It also doesn't seem to respond to light changes or outside motion.

Can anybody help me out? What is wrong with my Bearded Dragon?
Sounds like you need to give it therapy. It might cost a bit but your pet will really benefit from it.What is wrong with my Bearded Dragon?
Mine does this occasionally however it only lasts a day with my dragon. I believe the reason it runs in different directions is because it can see its reflection in the glass. Whenever my dragon runs around he normally headbutts his reflection and scratches the glass. Another reason is that bearded dragons love attention so your dragon may want to be picked up when he runs around. As for the eating, how long has it been since he last ate? My dragon can go three or four days without eating at times simply because he isn't hungry. If yours hasn't eaten in a week or more then i would get worried. You could ask a vet or a reptile expert such as a pet shop owner etcWhat is wrong with my Bearded Dragon?
Mine is doing that too at the moment... sorry for a reply which isn't helpful but I want to keep track of your answers. =)

Do leopard geckos color change if they don't have a special light?

My super hypo tangerine carrot tail's color has been dulling from her bright orange to a brownish orange. I feed her calcium and the crickets are fed carrots which an expert told me helps maintain her color but didn't. She doesn't have a light so im wondering if that maybe the problem? any ideas on how to help keep her beautiful orange? thanx!Do leopard geckos color change if they don%26039;t have a special light?
Leopard geckos do not need any %26quot;special%26quot; lights (no UVA or UVB) but they need a daytime light for heat and a proper photo-cycle. When I moved from Nevada to Washington, my geckos (tangerines) turned dark; this was due to a lack of heat. Go to the pet store and get a heat light (something small, I suggest a Fluker's Heat Light 6%26quot; across) and use a 40-60 watt light with it. Do not use a %26quot;swirly%26quot; light, they do not emit radiant heat. By the way, carrot-fed crickets won't necessarily boost the color of your gecko, but gut loading them will give her optimum nutrition. Using a multivitamin dust once a month will help. Along with calcium dusting the crickets 2x a week, leave a shallow dish (a jar lid perhaps) filled with calcium dust. Your gecko will eat it as needed. I do this for mine (a breeding pair) even when they're not breeding.Do leopard geckos color change if they don%26039;t have a special light?
There is no food that will enhance a gecko's color so the carrots aren't really helping or hurting anything. Though you should probably feed your crickets a fortified gutload of some kind with calcium in it. It's more important that your gecko get proper nutrition through its food items.

The dulling color might indicate that she is headed into a shed or is stressed out. Leos are nocturnal and do not need or want a light of any kind. Make sure the %26quot;hot%26quot; side of her tank is 90-95 degrees and heated with an undertank heating mat. The cool side should be around 80 or so. Make sure she has a humid hide in case she needs to shed, etc. :)

How do you begin rebuilding a car?

I don't know much about cars, only how to change tires, headlamps and tail lights, and checking the fluids. Do you recommend that I could rebuild a car or do I need some experience with car mechanics to try this? If so, what type of car do you recommend starting with? I do have a mechanical mind meaning that I usually can figure how something works once I take it apart. How do you begin rebuilding a car?
Start simple, rebuild a lawnmower first. How do you begin rebuilding a car?
Well, i know nothing about damage repair but to tune up an old car is very time and money consuming. Think before you do the task because you could be left with half a finished project and half of your money spent! How do you begin rebuilding a car?
If you don't have any idea baout engines I'd say leave that to the prosHow do you begin rebuilding a car?
You are getting in over your head.

The best engine to start with is an Old VW bug motor. They are simple and easy to work with. There are a ton of books and instruction manuals to help you along the way as well.

Plus, you will always find the parts you need. They aren't hard to come by. Also, you can even build it bigger as you rebuild it.How do you begin rebuilding a car?
I would recommend an american classic. They are easy to work on and are lookers.

I have a 1980 corvette and it is a great car. You can get a nice one under 15k and the parts are cheap. There are also several places that sell every part of that car so finding parts is easy.

because you said rebuilding a car (not just the engine) I would start with whatever is broken. In an old classic there is plenty to fix.

As for rebuilding an engine take it to a pro if you want it to last very long.

Another thing is there is no computer so when it is not running well it is easy to figure out.How do you begin rebuilding a car?
the first thing you must do is inventory what you have..

is the frame or body damaged badly ?

are most of the trim parts there ? they can be very costly..

first time i would go with a camaro or mustang 67-69 just because they are simple and easy to get parts for...

stay away from more obscure cars till you get a feel for thingsHow do you begin rebuilding a car?
Although the hands on is the best part of rebuilding a car. it takes alot of research as to what kind are you able to do and what is your budget.

I think a Chevy Blazer 4X4 70', 72' is the perfect start vehicle for anyone and I am partial to them as well. Plan on spending around 5000.00 for this rebuild not counting actual purchase of the truck. when your done and your sweat is dry you will have a great truck to show off.

Get a 400 cubic motor for it not the standard 350 it is a better choice. How do you begin rebuilding a car?
I rebuilt my first car from the ground up when I was sixteen. I am not an automotive professional, just a tinkerer. I am currently on my eighth restoration. It has become my pastime. I always begin by dismantling and labeling the parts. Then when it is down to the frame or basic chassis, begin cleaning, painting, repairs, and reassembly. Take your time and get a good reference manual. Rebuilding the components your self saves lots of money and you kind of learn as you go. The only part I have ever sent out to be repaired was an automatic transmission. The rest I have done myself.

Start by going to the library and get acquainted with the technical terms and diagrams of everything that generally comprises of an automobile as a whole. Then start out with smaller jobs, small engine repair like a lawn mower or something inexpensive so if you break something or give up the is no harm done. I wouldnt recoomend taking on the task of buying a second vehicle and just taking everyhting apart. Starting out tis will be overwhelming and the not only have you lost what ever money you have invested but you have a pile of parts that most likely go to ruin. Start out small, ask questions, the whole idea of restoring a car is exciting but not properly equipped with the right tools(knowledge or actual tools) will make it extremely difficult to the point that if you attempt a big project now and fail you may never want to attempt it again. But if you start out small you will build your confidence and mechanical knowledge to encourage you to take on more and more diificult tasks. Don't be discouraged and don't let anyone tell you to leave it to the professionals. What if someone said that to Davinci or Earnhardt. Two examples of people that are professionals but who haven't always been a professional. You could be one too one day with time, patience, and the willing to learn how things properly function. Good luck on your quest it is neverending. I know I am currently on my 13th vehicle and I am only 27. ThanksHow do you begin rebuilding a car?
You need to ask yourself why you wanna do this. If you intend to drive it around Sundays or so, it's gotta be a looker and something you gonna be proud of when finished. That will be a motivation aswell.

Corvette is a good one to look at, fibre bodies are easy to repair and maintain, straight forward engine and mechanics.

Fibre is easy to respray and would have a more pro finish.

Go for it, you'll be suprised what you can achieve once you put your mind to it.

Involve your wife or girlfriend, it's twice the fun!How do you begin rebuilding a car?
forget it until you learn more about cars or take a mechanics course, all it would do is really frustrate you and the project would be a total loss.

  • Stupid Sorority Chick took out my bumper, kits and tail lamps?

    So guys,

I was driving to college and this stupid blonde sorority chick ( lamb-da pi omega or something greek) crashes into my custom mod car 99 camry at a stop light signal. Craziest thing is, as I was waiting, seeing her approach speed on my rearview, I was saying in mind she's going to crash and praying not my car. CRASH!. And then she comes out and was like ' what the F am I doing' ???? while the signal light is STILL RED in the middle of the road? And I yelled %26quot; The F***ing light is still RED %26quot;, and there were stopped cars around us at the signal. I can't believe what a moron she is? And then she kept yelling %26quot; Oh my God, Oh my God. %26quot; like 10 times. And believe me guys I'm being real nice when I say, I can't even begin to explain how crazy retarded she is, God forgive her parents for sending her to college. I told her calmly %26quot;to pull her car to the curb%26quot; as the light is about to change and then she backs up and puts to drive and HITS MY CAR AGAIN on the corner and knocks off rear bumper, rear lip kits and whats rest of it, while I'm still standing outside dumbstruck!! And then comes more OMG !! I could almost feel steam coming from my ears at this point. ( I should've called the cops by now.) But this was a freeway exit during morning rush hour, and the traffic was doubling by the second. So I yelled at her to get the **** out and parked her car myself on the curb and then got in mine and parked mine in front of her all the while all the rest of the traffic waited behind us just when the lights changed from Green to Red again and traffic behind us is blocked the entire freeway lane as far as I could see. Then trying my best to calm myself, when I asked for insurance, and she doesn't even know what is what? After going thru her glove compartment out comes an EXPIRED insurance card. Then she picks up her cellphone, calls some dude and yells more and on forever and more %26quot;OMG, OMG...%26quot;. While I called the cops realizing she is downright the stupidest thing Ive seen since weird behavior on animal planet. ( stopping here, its long story, I got what i want)

So basically this is my question.

I know the insurance is going to pay for damage and replace them all new. Can I use this occasion to to replace my tail lamps with this custom after market LED projector lamps and pay for the difference?

(P.S. God forbid you ever happen as unlucky to be driving on the same zip code as she is. Geez. I wish the cop took away her license.)Stupid Sorority Chick took out my bumper, kits and tail lamps?
you should be able to talk to the body shop and let them know you can give them the order info for the parts and give them the difference up front for the balance on the lights and they collect the original cost from the insurance company.ive dealt with many body shops and most will work with you to get you on the road happily.

good luck and to bad about the dittze that hit you,at least she didnt run over you as wellStupid Sorority Chick took out my bumper, kits and tail lamps?
Wow, that's horrible. She was probably texting while driving. She is definitely a moron. But as for your question, I don't see why not.Stupid Sorority Chick took out my bumper, kits and tail lamps?
Your estimate will be given for a specific amount, based on least expensive parts and labor. Any overages based on product choices or extra labor for use of those products will be paid out of pocket. Do what you want.

You might consider that installing brighter bulbs is going to temporarily blind the oncoming drivers at select times, possibly causing a head on crash.I say this because I work in a body shop and have seen it happen. The manufacturers install the best bulbs that are practical to use under all conditions.

Tail light and dash light out '97?

My dashboard light (where the spedometer is) and my tail lights are out. The tail light works when i press on the brake. I changed the fuse (which was blown) and they still dont work. What else can i check and fix? And how do i do it? I have no idea what im doing and dont have the money to take it somewhere.Tail light and dash light out %26039;97?
fuse blown, might have also blown out bulbs when the fuse blew out, check might be more than one fuseTail light and dash light out %26039;97?
Did you change the bulbs? That is the most likely next step. It sounds like you are indicating the brake lights are functional but the either the reverse light or turn lights are not functioning. Nonetheless you have multiple bulbs un the tail light assembly so one of them may be out. As for the dash first check the dimmer for the dash lights and see if that has been turned down, if all the lights on the dash are out it is more likely a fuse or other electrical problem, if some lights work and some don't it is more likely to be a bad bulb. Dash lights are more difficult to change but not impossible. Good luck!Tail light and dash light out %26039;97?
The brake lights sounds simple. If it works when you apply the brakes, you've used the wrong kind of bulb. Some bulb s have two filaments, one that is one when you have your head lights on and the other when you apply the brakes. Your nearest auto parts store can resolve that quickly. As far as your dash light goes, thats gonna be tricky. Check again to assure you used the right fuse. If you did use the right fuse you might need to take apart the dash and replace the bulb which can be time consuming and tricky. If its not in your budget, you can learn to live without that little light. Buena Suerte.Tail light and dash light out %26039;97?
Check and see if the fuse is blown again but before you replace it walk around the car and see if any of the parking lights in the front or rear have water in them or were hit and broken, or see if there is rust in the bulb sockets which will cause a short. This includes the side marker bulbs which are on the same circuit in most vehicles. If you don't find a problem take all the running lights out and put a new fuse in and see if it blows or not. If the fuse doesn't blow put one bulb at a time back in their sockets and make sure they light up. When one lights and goes out right away you've found the shorted circuit. Keep in mind there may be something else in the same circuit, maybe a cigarette lighter etc. which could be the problem. Any loose change in an accessory socket?Keep looking you'll find it.

im having problems with my tail lights which donot come on at all, constent tail lights, brake lights, and front constent head lights. this is a problem at night time, i am not able to drive due to this issue. the tail lights and brake lights dont come on, but once in a while they will only when i press the brake. and sometimes the constant tail and brake lights get stuck and just stay on causeing me to have to diconnect the battery. as for the head lights they work no problem its just the constant lights that stay on in the corners of the light dont come on at all. ive tryed changing the fuses under the hood next to the battery and the fuses under the front driver side dashboard, and there is still no function to them. i would like to know if there is another fuse box somewhere in the truck or if anyone knows how to fix this issue. feel free to leave some pointers, or ways to help me with my problem, thanks!Jeep grand cherokee limited have tail light and brake light problems :-(?

How to replace the tail light on a 2001 Passat?

It's a 2001.5 Passat and the light that needs to be changed is the driver's side tail light. If you're familiar with this model then you know why that information is important. There's a little shelving fixture built into the driver's side of the trunk that blocks the tail lights. I cant get around it and i cant seem to remove it and I DON'T want to take my car to a shop to get a light replaced. If you know how to do this help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance. How to replace the tail light on a 2001 Passat?
You have to remove the inside trim to get access to the bolts holding the tail light in position.

Can I control how my turn signals work on my ford focus?

    2003 Ford Focus Sedan LX

I had a problem with my signals and took it in to ford. they looked at a bunch of things and then traced it this metal box which which conected to the wiring harness that was put in along with my u haul hitch. Before they found that they put in new GEM module. I guess that conrols the turn signal amongst other things. Now when i brake the normal brake lights comes on along with the upper turn signal light. It should only light up one light (on the tail light) can i change that? or whats the deal. Can I control how my turn signals work on my ford focus?
sounds like some one didn't know what they were doing when they wired everything I'd take it back to ford and have them check it outCan I control how my turn signals work on my ford focus?
Sounds like the U-Haul box is causing the problem. If you don't like it, remove the box, and return the wiring to the orginial condition. good luck. Can I control how my turn signals work on my ford focus?
I agree with Ford man.. disconnect the UHaul stuff first then try concern again... those trailer wiring harnesses give people like me fits in diagnosing and is one if the first things now I disable if working on a car like yours to verify concern.

You could have a shorted bulb or socket but I'd lay more bets on the U-haul trailer connector causing your headaches. Can I control how my turn signals work on my ford focus?
That's the U Haul box man.

My tail lights went out and wont come back on?

i wanted to replace my spoiler light because it wasn't working so i end up taking the whole spoiler of because a screw was striped and i could not get the light cover off with out taking the whole thing off. as soon as i take it off change the light and put it back on the lights wont go on. theres only two wires and i didn't Switch them at first till i notice that then brake lights dont come on when the brake is pressed how ever they do come one when it turns night out. they just don't get any brighter when you push the pedal. i checked all the fuses and there all fine. any suggestions i reset the battery and that didn't work. any one else have any good ideas as to what the problem is.My tail lights went out and wont come back on?
could be a faulty light that you put in as a replacement or you might have cut one of the wires on accident and thereby grounding it out somewhere on your carMy tail lights went out and wont come back on?
Did you check to see if the element has blown in the globes? You may need new globes! My tail lights went out and wont come back on?
i think you might have a short somewhere in your wires, go back through everything and check real closely.

  • Right tail-light issues: sometimes works and sometimes not?

My son's '93 Neon' right tail light works on and off. The left one has no problem. He has changed the fuse, checked the light itself. He was told it is probably electrical. Any suggestions on how and where to start checking? It seems obvious its something directly attached to that rear light. Signal and backup works on and off also. I think it's a loose wire, but have no idea where to look. Someone mentioned Dielictic Grease on another tail-light Q. Where is that found and would it affect only one light? Where is the Harness connector found? Thanks in advance.Right tail-light issues: sometimes works and sometimes not?
I would check the ground wires, if that does not help then it may need a diagnostic checkRight tail-light issues: sometimes works and sometimes not?
First check the bulb, the filament sometimes will make contact as the car wiggles. Second check the light bulbs connector for rusted or warn contacts. Open the trunk to access the rear lenses.Right tail-light issues: sometimes works and sometimes not?
    Yup...ground wire to the body.

It sounds to me like the right side has a grounding problem. Check to make sure which wire is the power (+) wire and trace the other wire if you can. This same wire goes to all the lights to complete the circuit. That would be the ground (-). If you can't trace it you can try putting a temporary jumper wire from it to a good metal area for a ground. Make sure it is not the power wire or you will blow a fuse and maybe cause more damage!!! Cars are grounded through the body so if it keeps working after that you know what the problem is. Then you just have fix the ground problem. It seems like it may be a bad wire in the wiring harness between the two sides. Good luck and Merry Christmas!!Right tail-light issues: sometimes works and sometimes not?

How would I diagnose and change a burnt out light bulb (headlight/taillight) in my 1994 Crown Victoria?

My right turn signal lights up but does not blink. I have heard that this may be due to a burnt out light bulb. However, upon cursury inspection, all lights seem to work... so I think perhaps I need to take of the tail lenses and replace a bulb. It's just that I've never done this before, so I was wondering how to go about this... Thank you for your help! How would I diagnose and change a burnt out light bulb (headlight/taillight) in my 1994 Crown Victoria?
the most common type of automtive bulb is a twist-type. What I mean by this, is the bulb should come loose by turning the plastic housing that sorrounds the bulb itself. then simply change bulbs, insert back into its hole, and turn back into place. How would I diagnose and change a burnt out light bulb (headlight/taillight) in my 1994 Crown Victoria?
    Hello,

If all the bulbs are still lite up then your bulbs are fine. You may have a selanoid that is bad or the turn signal switch needs to be worn out.

How do you change the dash lights in a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Specifically, only the dash lights that illuminate the heater controls. They burned out, although there have been an couple of instances when they turned on randomly and stayed on until I turned off the car, so the lights aren't dead per se but just don't work when they're supposed to.

Thats what it looks like. I can remove the two screws that are visiable but then it appears to still be clipped to the body. I cannot find how to release it so that i can change the tail light. How do you change the brake light in an 05 toyta sienna?
it probably has those plastic clips helping hold it it. if you can get a screwdriver in use it to work the clips out. i worked at a ford dealership and when i had to replace lights i would always get new clips cause its just easier to rip them out and replace with new ones. but make sure you can do that first( get parts first). How do you change the brake light in an 05 toyta sienna?
    Buy the replacement.

From the inside there are plastic parts. Use a screw driver to remove some parts, but most new vehicles have compartments where you can unsnap. It's pretty simple after you see the back of the light.

Remember to put it all back together in the way you took it apart.

The driver's side brake light is out and I dont see how to get the tail light lens off to replace the bulb? HELP!!!!!!!!!!! THANKSHow do I change the brake light bulb on a 2004 Dodge Durango?
If you can't figure it out, then you can't operate a screwdriver. There are 2 screws that hold the tail lamp in place. Once you remove those the tail lamp will %26quot;pop%26quot; out and then you can swap out the bulb. Any shop can do it in about 5 minutes.

How to replace wiring for a tail light.?

I own a 2001 Ford Escort and the rear left blinker/brake light does not work. It's not at the blinker switch and it's not at the bulb connector. So it must be a short in the wiring. Is this something I can change myself? If any one knows how to replace the wiring for a tail light in any kind of car, just give me a rough description of how to do it.

Thanks. How to replace wiring for a tail light.?
try the flasher unit or a possible fuse 1st - more likely than the wiring, unless the wires got damaged or rusted

How do I change my ex's tail lights to an Si set?

I have a 96 civic ex coupe, I've seen the Si tail lights and i really like them, the red top and white bottom seem so clean, I want to get a set and install them, but i have a question or two.

How do i arrange the bulbs? can i just change the amber turn signal light with a red one and stick it in the top half?

And do the si tail lights have a smiliar layout to the ex? will the current bulbs that i have (except the amber turning light) fit into the Si light's sockets? How do I change my ex%26039;s tail lights to an Si set?
the Si tail lights bolt up and the bulbs are in the same place as your current lights. i agree, the Si tail lights look WAY better then the EX tails. you want to keep your amber bulbs, that keeps you legal.

How do I change the air filter and tail lights in my Chevy S-10?

yes just pull it out, to change the bulbs, drop the tailgate and take out the screws or clips on the inside edge. this will allow you to pull out the taillight.

How do I access the instrument cluster in my 1990 Mercedes 300E ito change a burned out warning light?

I already checked the owner's manual and it was no help (it only talked about changing burned out tail lamps). The 1991 Mercedes 300E is similar (nearly identical) to the Mercedes 260E or 300E (1987 to 1994).How do I access the instrument cluster in my 1990 Mercedes 300E ito change a burned out warning light?
The problem with tugging on hooks is that the speedometer cable will tug back. The right way to do this is to drop the panel below the dash. Reach up and disconnect the speedometer cable. Then push the dash pod out from behind. How do I access the instrument cluster in my 1990 Mercedes 300E ito change a burned out warning light?
u need 2 %26quot;instrument cluster hooks%26quot; insert each one on the side of the cluster a little over a quarter the way up on the sides. theres little tabs on the inside that the hooks grab onto. sometimes the can be real stubborn so make sure the hooks dont slip out and scratch the dash. or if there is two slots near the bottom left and bottom right side then you will need instrument cluster %26quot;keys%26quot; you can get the hooks or the keys from a snap-on dealer or truck. How do I access the instrument cluster in my 1990 Mercedes 300E ito change a burned out warning light?
This works on the W126 S-class. (1981 - 1991) Make two hooks from a wire coat hanger, two straight pieces 17cm (7 inches) long, bend 6mm (1/4 inch) into a right angle at at the one end and a slightly bigger one at the other ends to get your fingers behind.

Disconnect battery to be on the safe side and inset the hooks between the instr. panel and the dash at either end. Turn so the small hooks are behind the panel and just pull straight out. The unit is not held in by clips or screws, it is a push fit. Pretty much what Steve H already wrote.

Make sure the replacement lamps are not higher wattage as that can overheat the instr. panel. How do I access the instrument cluster in my 1990 Mercedes 300E ito change a burned out warning light?
You need to LOOK at the car at night and check EVERY lamp on the car, that means removing the rear pods which all the lights mount, check the license plate bulbs, eVERYthing...and while your at it, just spend 15-20 dollars and replace them ALL!!

Avoid the hassle, cause that light can come on just from an old bulb that is just ABOUT to go bad.

    Good Luck!

Check the inside of the trunk and look for the interior trim panel that hides the back of the light. From there maybe you can see how to do it. The socket that holds the light may need a 1/4 turn to remove it from the assembly.

Does the tail light come out? OR Do I need to remove the inside paneling? How do you change the revesrse lights on a 2005 Acura MDX?
you should either be able to get to it by undoing some screews either facing the back or screws facing the front of the car,

if they are facing the front -can't see them facing back then you will have to take the trim off and have a scrurage around to find the connectors.

if it's on the boot then it's the same but they face the front and you will have to take the trim off of there to find it

guessing you'd know how to disconnect the connectors for the lights... just twist them

You will most likely not find an interior access to the lights ,,, you must remove the screws on the outside and remove the casing to get to the bulbs ... Most yrs did not have any way of gaining access from the inside ... i'm not sure if the owners manual shows this feature but it would be great to have a shop manual or at the very least a Haynes or Chiltons manual for reference... Good LuckHow do you replace a tail light (brake) bulb on a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee?
Look for two more screws somewhere outside the vehicle. Also look for an access pannel just inside the back at the same level of the taillights. If there is one, you may be able to reach in and change the bulbs right there. How do you replace a tail light (brake) bulb on a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee?
After obtaining the correct light bulb-- an auto store or the dealership can tell you-- open the back hatch. On the inside back wall is where you will find access to the bulbs. I don't know if you take the interior wall off or a open a door, but try gently (It's easy to mark things up if you use a screwdriver to pry it off). You may even have to unscrew this. Make sure you put the burnt out bulb away from you in the garbage--don't want to accidentally reinstall that. Plug in the new one. And reseal the compartment. Then make sure you get behind the wheel and press on the brakes with the jeep running and a friend posted at the back to notify you if its the right light bulb you replaced--and not a night driving one..
